THE COMPANY
Boy Blue Entertainment perform an extract from BBE: Legacy ‘The Works’ as part of the Cabaret at Greenwich Dance on Friday 3 February.
Led by Kenrick “H20” Sandy and Michael “Mikey J” Asante, Boy Blue Entertainment are Barbican Artistic Associates and Oliver Awarded Hip Hop Dance Theatre Company which continues to develop and inspire hip hop dancers from grass roots to seasoned professionals.
Having performed to sold out audiences in many venues including Theatre Royal Stratford East and The Barbican, London. Boy Blue Entertainment (BBE), come to The Jerwood Dance House, Ipswich with BBE: Legacy, “The Works”. Boy Blue celebrate the end of their 10 Year Anniversary this year with a collection of their best work to date.
Pushing street dance to its limits, Boy Blue Entertainment has just recently worked on a Channel 4 short film, Strictly Come Dancing, Street Dance 3D The Movie, Bafta Awards, Breakin’ Convention 2011, So You Think You Can Dance and Alesha’s Street Dance Stars ,
BBE productions include, Legacy “The Works”, Touch, Over The Edge, A Nite With Da Bratz and the Olivier Awarded Pied Piper. BBE: Touch, is set on a cabaret style stage, allowing a rare opportunity to see BBE in their rawest form, with both artistic directors on one stage. BBE’s most recent show is BBE: Legacy “The Works”.

Olivier Award-winning, hip-hop dance theatre company Boy Blue Entertainment celebrate a ten-year body of work. This eclectic show, fusing everything from popping, locking, krump, hip hop, freestyling, break and house dancing with contemporary and theatre, is BBE: Legacy “The Works”.
Broken into a more than a dozen segments, all had their own feel and include some stunning visual effects pieces. The extracts for BDE 2012 will be: Piano (Unusual Force) and Krump-Buck-Amp
